This place has a lot of nicely restored furniture. It's obvious they take time to restore the pieces before selling them. I didn't find what I was looking for this time, but I will be back!
One of the rudest, vile, smart talking and insulting persons I have ever encountered in 70 years! My wife and I drove up from Washington, DC to check their furniture and inquire about selling furniture to them. The owner was not there but his brother was watching the store. A man and lady inquired where the owner was and he told them his brother was ill and he was managing the store. The lady explained they had been calling for months after talking to the owner's wife about selling their furniture. The man went into a mad tirad against this woman that the store does not visit customer's homes to buy furniture if they are out of the area. Her husband stepped up to defend his wife against the verbally offensive remarks and the man told them both to leave the store. Other customers there, as well as myself, went to their defense and the man still told them to leave AGAIN so WE ALL LEFT!!!! Would not recommend or visit this store EVER! Just a vile man with no respect for people!
Definitely a place you need to visit if you're in the market for furniture, or even if you're not furniture shopping stop in and you'll probably find something you didn't know you couldn't live without.
It's privately owned as opposed to a big impersonal chain store and you'll likely meet the owner when you go in. They go out of their way to accommodate you and although I don't believe they advertise it, they will work out delivery if you're not far. There's usually good music playing, friendly staff, and overall an inviting and relaxed atmosphere.
Great selection of unique and beautiful furniture for reasonable prices. I've come in several times to look around and I honestly can't tell what is *used* furniture and what's new because it's all in exceptional shape. I've never seen anything that looked anything but showroom quality. They have a good selection of antique, vintage, and even some retro-type unusual pieces to pick from- for example there were a couple of giant high heel shoe chairs there last time I was in. I bought a beautiful antique flat top trunk there for only $50!. They even have a small selection of books, CDs, and DVDs there that are very cheap (I bought a whole season of little house on the prarie for $1!).
It's also located right on Main St in the center of downtown Westminster so there's tons of other great shops and restaurants within walking distance.
