Dr. Alba is very rushed. When i went to see him for severe heartburn, he did not ask for my symptoms or give me anything to do to fix the pain. Instead he asked that i simply "return when it gets worse." What is worse than being unable to sleep all night with unbearable burning in my chest?
Dr. Alba was the only physcian ( took 9 months to find him & get a positive result) who could determine that l had a blocked bile duct. He did surgery and l was fine!
Dr. Alba himself seemed okay, he didn't really do much but he told me to schedule a follow up appoint a month later to get a follow up endoscopy. Well my stomach problems have been worsening a lot since then and when I called to confirm my appointment for the endoscopy (I had to call about 30 times to get a hold of them in the first place) then I finally got a hold of this very rude secretary who said that my appointment was only a office visit even though it should not have been and she wasn't willing to help me out at all. The service I received from the secretaries was AWFUL and I won't ever go back there because of that. I have serious medical problems and if I'm going to be treated that way by the staff at my doctor's office it's time to go somewhere else..
