Ate too much! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all in one meal!
When in Westminster, I try to stop at Baugher's! You should, too. Great place for fresh fruit and veggies, too!
Turkey club was very good. Milk shake was great. Strawberry banana, YUM. French fries were average. Bread pudding was good but had more sauce than I like. (I still ate it all!) Booth needs attention. Atmosphere is diner style, very nice, homey. Service by Sandy was great, attentive and very pleasant. Made me feel welcomed. Staff seems to get along well and help each other. And, they hustled.
I wish the service would be more customer oriented, but it is a simple country join, no pretenses, nothing to brag about. It has been there for ages, I go there once in every blue moon. Go there at your own risk.
Always wonderful comfort food. The ice cream is delicious and the pie is worth the trip by itself. Friendly service. The fruit and produce market is great too.
My guy and I drove a long way to try this place. The outside market was pretty nice. The inside stuff ... not so much. The restaurant had an unorganized feeling about it. We had fried chicken which was kinda overcooked on the outside but saw some red next to the bone. My grandma would say to turn down the heat, it's cooking too fast. The mashed potatoes were an ice cream scoop of somewhat instant tasting potatoes with a strange brown "topping" of gravy which were only warm. The green beans were out of a can with next to no seasoning. The rolls were pretty good and actually the best part of the meal. The waitress was nice but I think she was flirting with my man. Oh well. A very strange dining experience. Don't think we'll ever go back. Very disappointed.
Delicious meals, good "grandma's home-cooked" type meals, lots of variety on the menu, delicious pies (25 varieties!). Visit the farm stand outside for plants, fruits, vegetables, decor, kitchen items, pies, rolls, and honey.
