Awesome school where my daughter is starting college!
I spent the last four years of my life at McDaniel College, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. The professors are wonderful people and truest care about you on a personal level and about your education. I've made some of my absolute best friends here, and I k ow these friendships will be life-long. McDaniel's motto is focused on how they change lives, and it's completely true. Of course there are down sides to everything, and with McDaniel, it's the administration and the dining hall food. However, they are working to improve the quality of food. As for the administration, some students formed the Progressive Student Union (PSU) and they are working to get the administration to be more transparent about certain topics and to get them to work with the students, rather than against them, which is how it frequently seems.

Best for my Jr. year Physics Major...very small class size, diverse opportunity internships, great locale, best bang for buck in terms of private colleges. Named one of Forbes Most influential colleges on their students for years now. Also - an administration willing to help with financial and other difficult issues regarding education McDaniel provides. My child is out of state and received better scholarship here than home state.
