Beautiful location for a wedding, with several picturesque areas for the ceremony, and several reception areas to accommodate both smaller and larger weddings.
My wife and I got married here, so it'll always have a special place in our hearts. It's very picturesque and there are some cool demonstrations of life in the olden times. They have a little play area and animal viewing section for the kids. They also hold some fun events here, since it's so spread out and charming, such as the Maryland Wine Festival. The staff is very friendly and you can feel the history of this place as you stroll its winding paths while taking in the sights.
Carroll County Farm Museum is wonderful. It is a great place to learn about the history of farming. They always have really cool events going on. It is the perfect place for company picnics and family events. My husband and I got married there. They work with you to make your event really great.
Attended a wine festival with Secret Garden. I had an amazing time!!! The grounds were great plenty of trees a lot of space for tents and chair set up. There were even picnic tables and benches. Parking was excellent and organized well!!! Plenty of restrooms. Very clean everywhere! Only down side for me was the bees. Which they can't control.
Great place for a field trip. Would love to come back without the kids
There a multiple buildings around the farm museum that offer fantastic photo opportunities, and there are barnyard animals and a small playground to keep the kids busy.
