UPDATE: I found out after I applied for the Maryland energy grant that they were supposed to pull a permit and did not. Now I have to spend another $83 when they should have known they needed to.
I ordered a black surround and they installed an old gold one and spray painted it to try and cover it up. Not only did it not cover it up but they spray painted my brick!! I noticed because the paint looked like crap instantly so I exchanged it. It also started to chip right away and the gold showed through. They had charged me 280 for the surround and didn't even give me the one that I clearly asked for. When I asked them about it to exchange it, they pretended like they didn't know. Don't buy from here. Dishonest. It was clear they were trying to get one over on me.
I purchased a Quadra-Fire pellet stove in 2015. It worked wonderful for the first year. It was serviced in August 2016. But the first time we used it, it wouldn't drop the pellets. I called Fireworks to come out for a service call. I was shocked to hear that a service fee is $220. Wow! Really?!! But I needed my stove to work so what else was I to do.

I thought I would call the owner, Carl and let him know how unhappy I was about my experience. He appreciated hearing from me and we very polite and understanding. Carl ask for a day to research my situation. He called me back within 24 hours with the best news! He agreed that the part should have lasted more than a year and refunded my $287. It cost me nothing!!!
Fireworks Fireplace and Barbeque will stand behind their products. This is the kind of company I want to do business with. I trust them and will continue to do business there!!
I'm rating Fireworks with one star because I can't choose a lower rating... This business operates like a shady used car lot. Tell you whatever you want to hear to get the sale, then has no time for you. Extremely poor after sales support. My wife called with an issue on our NEW pellet stove, they had an attitude over the phone. We got a lot of excuses, not much help. If you are considering purchasing a fireplace insert or stove, consider buying it elsewhere.
Well, there was a part that went bad. The part that drops the pellets. I asked if this was something covered by the warrantee. No, I was 1 month past the warrantee date. I was billed $287. I was not a happy camper. I paid the $287 bill. But not happy about it.
Fireworks gave my dated fireplace a whole new look. I love it! When someone walks into my living room, it's always "WOW!" I love the remote control.
