This experience was horrible. I wanted to use a local business instead of giving the big names my business, but I would have been better off going to Home Depot or Lowes. I have definitely learned my lesson. The experience started with Jim (Sales person), we signed the contract in July and I was doing my entire house, my mom was also with me and she told Jim that if everything went well with my house then she was going to replace her entire house and she would be using them as well. I paid half of the bill in July and was told that I would be contacted with my install date soon. I contacted my sales person Jim numerous times and was told that it would be soon, I had to call the store at the end of August to find out when my install date was. Jim never once picked up the phone he hid behind emails and text message, which is extremely unprofessional. The store told me that the reason why it was taking so long was because one their installers was in a accident and was taking time to recover, well it would have been nice to know that information. Jim also changed my flooring in the middle of the experience, he said he did because it was a better quality I know that he did because he did not order the right floor to begin with! ( I am in sales and understand how this works). Jim also changed one of my install dates without even asking me and thought he was doing me a favor and then he could not change it back to the original date which then caused even more of delay in the install. When the installer finally came to my house to do the first phase of the work, the installer had no idea what they were doing on the first day. I had to tell them that they were supposed to be putting all 4 bathroom's in, they also pulled up my foyer flooring and almost laid the wrong flooring down, because they no instructions from the floors. Once the flooring was completely done, I realized that the flooring in my basement bathroom was starting to come up and there was water everywhere. Kevin from the store told me that the leak was my fault that his plumber did not do anything wrong that he wanted his money before he fixed anything, and that I was going to have to pay for the leak. I told him I would get my own plumber to look at, and that there was never a leak before his plumber went in and removed and installed the toilet back to the floor. Kevin was very rude and told me that the store would take me to court over the money I owed him and that I would have to pay to him before anything was fixed. I hired a plumber and the plumber I hired told me that the plumber that put the toilet back in did not re seal the wax ring when he put the toilet back. So in the end it was the stores fault. This experience started in July was not complete until November. My mom will not be using Mercers, and I have told all of my realtor friends to not sue this business. The owner and all members of this team are rude and extremely unprofessional and only after getting money, they are not in the business of customer service at all.

We currently have a contract with Mercer. I was promised an install date of July 25, got a call today (July 23) that they were coming July 31 - what a surprise. The sales guy is nice (Steve). I don't think that it is his fault. The explanation is that the "in stock" carpet that we picked was not in stock. They had to order it and it won't be in to do the promised install on time. Buying carpet is a giant pain. It shouldn't be so difficult.

The overall experience was great! The customer service made me feel that the company really cares about each and every family. Expert service when it comes to measurements and pre-installation. I would highly suggest going to this local company. Great people!!!

These Guys were AWESOME!!!! Totally worked around my schedule and did an amazing detailed job. Kevin helped us pick the perfect carpet and the two Men that installed it did an AWESOME detailed job. Highly recommend this company.

This is a top notch company. From the selection process all the way to the installation, the employees and installers handle every step professionally. The sales associate I got to know, Matt, has great experience and offers good prices! Just make sure to move all your furniture out of the way before they arrive to install. They're serious about not touching anything else in your house besides what they install! (That's smart business) Will go to them for any new flooring or counter-tops I need in the future.
